Quotes

Quotes are currently free to apply for. Quotes is a statement of the price you are expecting to pay for your fursuit. Prices is subjected to decrease or even increase depending on supply shortages. There is no guarantee that if you fill out a quote from that you are being placed into a fursuit queue or even getting a quote.Quotes are open only when the queue has completely been emptied. To receive a quote you will fill out the application form available on the home page when they are open.Quotes expire a year after they have been made. Deadlines

Deadlines are thought of but not guaranteed. This is a one person run business and fursuits will not be rushed to avoid mistakes that can harm the maker and even the wearer.I will, however, try my best to bring your fursuit to a timely manner for any convention you plan on going to, but please fill out a form in a timely manner.

Payment

Payment processingThemsinfulkids kids takes payment through Zelle, Cashapp, or Paypal.✦ paypal may require some added fees to be paid when being used.Payment PlansPayment plans are are accepted! Materials will be bought and a fursuit will be started. The fursuit, however, will not be shipped out until everything is finished paid.A non refundable 25% down deposit of the full fursuit price is required to stay in queue and get a fursuit started.✦ the 25% down deposit is used to pay for materials.✦A 20% down deposit is required for a premade.Refunds
Refunds are accepted but the down deposit is kept due to materials being already bought.✦ you may choose to recieve a partial refund. For this you will recieve all parts that is completed already!If I decide to cancel on my accord due to life situations you will receive a full refund, including down deposit.If I have no proof of me starting your commission 1 year after the down deposit, you will get a full refund, no matter the circumstance.Any work will be abandoned with months of no contact without notice. It will be refunded except the down deposit IF materials was already bought.- Refunds are absolutely not allowed after commission is complete- cancelations are final

Slot ownership

A 25% down deposit is required for a slot to be retained.Should you need to backout, the slot will be given to another person

Construction

Character RefrencesA character for a fursuit requires a 2 to 3 sided design of a design you own and not someone else’s if it's not a gift.✦ must have at least a front and side view with all face markings showing. Mouth color must be shown as well.
If getting a partial, pawpads must be shown.✦ if character has hair, you can make it as the 3rd view alt.✦ refrence must be unshaded with a distinguishable color pallete.If you like some elements from another maker you like, I will try to incorporate it into the themsinfulkids style.Please make sure your character is 100% finished In design. Changes are not easy to do at all this may require an additional fee to fix and it cannot be big changes.AI referencesI do not accept AI generated “art” for references as a substitute for hand drawn, hard worked on, REAL art
I personally have refsheet commissions! If you honestly don't have a good one you can commission me for one for a reasonable price.✦ saying that you're not an artist is not an excuse! There is many artists out there as long as your refrence isn't very low quality and crunchy, and has the views and colors asked, your refsheet is fine.This also goes for “sending other fursuit makers styles” for inspiration.RightsThemsinfulkids does not own the rights to your character during creation. If you decide to chancel you may not get the materials and the unfinished fursuit will be rearranged to make a different character but it doesn't mean the colors will not be used.You do not own the design to a premade until it is fully paid off.Themsinfulkids has the right to post wips and the finished product for promotional reasons unless privately disclosed.MaterialsMaterials used is fleece, Neoprene, Lycra, and faux fur. If you'd have any specific materials you'd like me to use for any reason, please inform me. If materials are hard to find, I will inform you on alternates such as overseas fabrics or a refrence to a professional fur color finder!MeasurementsPlease make sure your head is measured! Well! Themsinfulkids is not responsible for improperly measured projects. I always double check via multiple messages and it is recommended to the “3 times” experiment to make sure the outcomes of your measurements are close to each other and accurate!Please make sure to account for your glasses or if you have braids/dreads/ alot of hair ! As a POC glasses wearer, I find this a very important attribute to a fursuit!

Process

turn around timeThe turn around time currently is about 6 months to 1 year.✦ keep in mind that this is a one person business! I go to college with a pretty hard major and uses art as a part time job on the side! Emergencies happen and I send updates as much as I can, especially with a big project.✦ Please don't be afraid to ask for wips! I will always share my truth and wips if I have them!Work in progressWork in progresses give me motivation to continue my work, especially if you love them! I send as many as I can with my tight schedule I have.Clients are expected to voice their opinions and changes they want to any big milestones such as head shape (foam carving stage), furring, and etc.Images are allowed to be shared! I rarely share them myself to my socials.All work is hand made and hand carved and will have some errors. the true wabi sabi of fursuits
There will be some style differences on fursuits!✦ All fursuits are honest about the product but may not show all visual imperfections because of camera vs the eye.

Shipping

Shipping is not included with your quote ,and must be fully covered by you, the commissioner, once your project is completed. This allows for you to decide of the speed of your shipping and postage rates.✦ if you are a united states resident, your commission will be shipped via UPS, pricey but reliable. You will also revive the tracking number.We do not, sadly, do shipping outside the US due to current shipping issues. I will see if this can change in the future.Themsinfulkids is not responsible for losses or damages from shipping

Warranty || Repairs

themsinfulkids offer a 6 month warrenty. Shipping to me is covered by you but shipping back is free. The warranty allows for free repairs and fixes made by me! These mistakes include, but not limited to, inaccurate sizing, faulty seam work, bald spots, and damage from the shipping company.✦ this also applies to premades.✦ this doesn't not cover damages by you such as ripped parts, smashed or poked out eyes, dirty fur or severe misuse.After the 6 month warranty is over expires, repair work may cost a fee.✦ please reserve around 100$-200$ for repairs. All payment must be covered before worked on the suit.✦ please make sure your suit is clean before sending or it will require a cleaning fee.NSFWI do not mind for fursuits to be used in a nsfw between consenting adults. Because of this fact, your warranty will be voided and your suit will not be worked on or repaired by me.

Misc.

AccountabilityThemsinfulkids is not responsible for the actions of the owner of a fursuit.
